WEAR by Happy.Green’s goal is to change a way of thinking, showing that sustainable products can also be beautiful, durable and functional at the same time. WEAR’s goal is to be a circular sustainable replacement for plastic wearables. Therefore, wood has been used as the main material. Wood is renewable, compostable and has a very low CO2 impact, making it ideal for reducing the ‘carbon footprint’ of wearables. To increase the positive social impact of wearables, Happy.Green has developed an online platform on which non-profits, NGOs and local organisations can post volunteers. Consumers can earn discounts and upgrades for their wearables when they volunteer through this online platform. Through this, Happy.Green aims to motivate people to act sustainably and make “doing good” the norm rather than the exception.
