Start of the Final Phase of Strijp-S: Design District begins

Living, working, and connecting
Strijp-S Phase 4 will provide space for approximately 1,500 homes, 45,000 m² of workspace, 3,500 m² of public-oriented functions, and 3,500 m² of recreational facilities and events. A diverse range of housing options will be created for a broad, dynamic audience, with special attention to families. The offerings will include both for-sale and rental apartments, homes with gardens, and urban residences. The architecture and public spaces will vary, each with its own unique atmosphere and character. In the coming years, existing buildings will be gradually and sustainably transformed. Supporting the growth and development of current entrepreneurs is essential, with opportunities within DONNA playing a crucial role, allowing businesses and communities to anticipate and adapt in a timely manner.

Park Strijp Beheer, in collaboration with VolkerWessels, the Municipality of Eindhoven, and the development partners of Strijp-S, continues the transformation of the area. Currently, efforts are focused on finalizing the initial construction plans for the Microlab building and the development of a parking garage with social housing above it, provided by Woonbedrijf.

Initial Works
The first activities are expected to begin this fall, starting with preparing the site, including the partial demolition of Microlab. In the first quarter of 2025, construction can then begin on the underground parking garage and the residential building above it, managed by Woonbedrijf.
