Strijpers are active in fields such as art, media, design, creative and business services, and knowledge-intensive industries.

They are resourceful, always seeking the new, and have a worldly, open perspective. Through mutual interaction, they inspire each other and play a pioneering role in various areas of society.

Strijp-S is being systematically transformed into a distinctive area that is unmistakably Eindhoven, yet has a strong international appeal. Strijp-S grows in its identity every day, and the people who live, work, and enjoy their time here grow along with it. Strijp-S is alive, every day anew.

Strijp-S is alive!

Strijp-S is an accessible area where many activities converge.

With a diverse offering, the contrast between historical and modern architecture, active encouragement of interaction between users, and the promotion of innovative events and temporary functions, there is always something new to discover.

Here, innovations in art, design, and technology were and continue to be created. Users of Strijp-S are given ample freedom and are actively encouraged to develop new products and shape their own environment. Strijp-S is modern, yet in its historical and industrial appearance, it retains an attractive, raw edge.

The area is unfinished and unpolished. This is primarily reflected in the highlighting of existing buildings, the deliberate preservation of industrial elements in public spaces, and the encouragement of events and pop-up functions.

Here, the raw is combined with a ‘softer’ design, evident in the green character of the public spaces, the design of new buildings, and the high level of amenities.
