Kickoff for the Next Phase of Strijp-S: Residential-Work Building A3

The fourth phase of the redevelopment of Strijp-S in Eindhoven is about to begin! This year marks the start of construction for the first residential block, Block A3. But this won’t be just any building—it will be a dynamic complex featuring 150 apartments, eleven creative work lofts, and a welcoming café-restaurant. The most striking feature? Its playful, stepped design with terraces that face the sunlit side of the square. And right at the very tip of the building, a hospitality venue will take shape—a perfect spot to settle in with a coffee or a drink.

Green Courtyard
At the heart of Block A3, a lush green courtyard will provide a peaceful retreat in the midst of Strijp-S’s vibrant energy. The terraces on each floor not only enhance the building’s aesthetic appeal but also offer residents their own outdoor space. On top of that, the rooftops will be covered in greenery—pleasing to the eye and a step towards a more sustainable living environment.

Smart Parking Garage
To keep Strijp-S green and livable, all cars in Phase 4 will be parked underground. Instead of separate parking garages beneath each building, a single three-story shared parking facility will be built under Block A3. This ensures that the square remains a true public space to enjoy—without the clutter of parked cars.
