SDK Real Estate and a.s.r. real estate sign purchase agreement for residential building PULSE on Strijp-S

SDK Real Estate and a.s.r. real estate have signed a purchase agreement for the residential building PULSE on Strijp-S in Eindhoven. a.s.r. real estate acquires the project on behalf of the ASR Dutch Core Residential Fund, marking the next step in the development of the residential tower.

PULSE will be a striking 24-storey residential building with 176 rental apartments. The homes range from studios to two- and three-room apartments, with sizes between approximately 41 and 95 m². Most apartments will include a private outdoor space and residents will have access to a shared rooftop terrace of more than 240 m².

The project focuses on providing affordable rental housing in the Eindhoven region. Part of the homes will be offered within the regulated mid-rent segment, while the remaining apartments will fall within the fund’s affordable rental range. This contributes to the supply of accessible and future-proof housing in the city.

The building’s ground floor will accommodate commercial space and several makerspaces, supporting the vibrant creative ecosystem of Strijp-S. The makerspaces align with the area’s design district concept, where living, working and making come together. SDK Real Estate will remain involved in the management of these spaces in the coming years to further strengthen the local community of creative entrepreneurs.

The building is designed by architecture firm Office Winhov and takes inspiration from the historic Philips architecture that characterises Strijp-S. A special façade artwork by artist Jan van der Ploeg will be integrated into the design.

Construction is expected to start in the second quarter of 2026, with completion anticipated by the end of 2028.
